Who are we?
At Global Village Learning, we believe in the incredible capacity of every young person to shape their own future and positively impact the world around them. Our Guides and community members aren’t just educators or staff — they are passionate co-creators of an environment where autonomy, creativity, and real-world contribution are everyday realities.
We are inspired by Montessori principles, Self-Determination Theory, and a belief that learning should be learner-led, future-focused, and fuelled by curiosity, mastery, and community connection.

Global Village Learning is an independent, non-denominational, learner-led, adult-supported, Montessori-inspired learning community based in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, Victoria.
We currently support around 195 learners, including 25 adults, with a vision to grow to 300 people across our four Developmental Learning Hubs.

GVL is growing — and we are looking for Guides, Specialists, Community Builders, and Administrative Supporters who are excited to be part of something adventurous and meaningful.
Opportunities to work with us may include:
- Full-time and part-time Guide roles
- Learning Support and Inclusion roles
- Project Experts (Arts, STEM, Entrepreneurship, Community Impact)
- Operational and Administrative Supporters
- Volunteers and Mentors passionate about shaping thriving communities
We deliberately blur the lines between learning and life — weaving together literacy, numeracy, technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship in authentic, project-based learning experiences.
