Learner Profiles

Welcome. This page is your central place to access Learner Profiles at Global Village Learning.

Learner Profiles are designed to give families a clear, meaningful picture of learning as it unfolds over time. They bring together learner voice, goals, capabilities, reflections and evidence in a way that values growth, agency and real learning.

What is a Learner Profile?

A Learner Profile is a personalised digital snapshot of your young person’s learning journey.

It includes:

  • learning goals and reflections
  • capability development
  • evidence from projects and learning experiences
  • insights from regular huddles with guides

The Learner Profile is updated after each Learning Huddle and grows across the year. Over time, it becomes a rich record of progress, learning and development.

Accessing our Learner Profile

Learner Profiles are organised by Hub.

Step 1: Choose the correct Hub link

Below, you will see links for each learning hub.

Choose the link for your young person’s hub below:

Foundation & Play Learner Profile

Exploration & Discovery Learner Profile

Entrepreneurship & Social Impact, Pathways & Futures, and Castlemaine Learner Profiles

If your young person has transitioned between hubs during the year, there will be:

  • one Learner Profile for their earlier hub, and
  • one Learner Profile for their current hub.

You are welcome to access both profiles. Together, they show your young person’s learning across different stages of the year.

Step 2: Log in

When you select a hub link, you will be asked to log in.

  • Use your young person’s school email address (ending in @gvl.vic.edu.au) and password
  • The email address must be entered in all lower case
  • This Learner Profile system is case sensitive
  • The Learner Profile will open automatically once logged in

First-time access notes

The first time you access a Learner Profile, you may be asked to:

  • accept Google terms and conditions, and
  • allow pop-ups for Looker Studio in your browser.

These steps are required for the profile to display correctly. If pop-ups are blocked, the profile or PDF download may not open.

If you can’t log in

If your young person does not know their email or password, please contact:

  • their Huddle Guide, or
  • their Hub Lead

They can help reset or confirm access details.

How to navigate the Learner Profile

Each Learner Profile is made up of several pages.

  • Use the navigation tabs along the top of the page to move between sections.
  • Each tab focuses on a different aspect of learning, such as goals, reflections, capabilities and evidence.
  • You can move between tabs in any order.

Downloading or printing the Learner Profile

Each Learner Profile page includes a Download PDF button in the top right corner.

To save or print the profile:

  1. Open your young person’s Learner Profile.
  2. Click the Download PDF button (top right).
  3. Choose Save to keep a digital copy, or Print to produce a paper copy.

This will create a clean, print-ready version of the profile.

Helpful viewing tips

  • Learner Profiles are best viewed on a laptop or desktop for the clearest layout.
  • The profile will update following each Learning Huddle as new reflections and insights are added.
  • Downloaded PDFs reflect the profile at the time you choose to save or print.
